Mary is a full time professor at Lansing Community College, and Program Chair of the Insurance and Risk Management program. She is also an adjunct professor at Davenport University teaching marketing and management.

Mary owned and operated her own insurance agency for a decade and was also actively involved in the community. Mary grew up in Lansing, graduated from Michigan State University and has lived in the Lansing area her entire life.
